Totally love how this is coming along. I think you have developed value in the brain really well. The composition is compelling even though it is mostly simple shapes. Excited to see how the color and pastels come into the drawing- I really think it is going to make it pop. One thing I might suggest is to play with elements penetrating into the white background from inside the brain. I think it could be cool -depending on your concept- to make some of those colored forms start to bleed into the white which will also create cool negative space shapes.
