I really like the measurements you did. I’m sure that helped a lot in the final drawing with getting the proportions right. The lines are really clear as well. Good job 🙂

I did not know they made the faces faces into emojis. I am sorry

Andreas, nice job with this drawing. I think we might have touched on this on Tuesday, but I think right now the drawing is a bit simple and could be more dynamic if there was a little bit more detail added. Some of these details could include the shape of the labels and some of the larger more abstract shapes of the Altoid container and mug logo.

I also think because the objects are largely in the center of the page, most of the edges of the drawing are not activated. You could activate the bottom edge and corners by lightly drawing in the larger abstract shapes in the wood grain.

Next time, I might suggest cropping the still life a bit closer to activate the edges even more. For example, the paint stirrer could touch either one or both of the edges so that the objects don’t all stay in the center of the page.

While the jars and objects are well drawn I think the complexity of subject matter could have been greater. Perhaps even just adding the labels or objects such a paper or a notebook that could be cropped on the lower right corner to activate the table top and composition. All in all you did a good job on the drawing.
